"Research shows that optimism plays an important role in protecting adults from the risk of stroke," said Eric Kim, the scientist who conducted the study and report the results in the journal Stroke as quoted by CBC News, Monday (01/02/2012).

Meanwhile, another study at Duke University show, optimistic person who always has a heart attack risk 30 percent lower than pessimistic people. By itself, the optimist has a better chance for longevity.
