Symptoms Person Signs Diabetes

many people experience some when you urinate and urine surrounded by ants. That was one of the signs of diabetes are easily known. But there are many more signs of diabetes that need to be wary of.

"If someone pipisnya surrounded by ants, it could be an early sign of diabetes," said Dr. Dante Saksono H, SpPD, PhD, when contacted detikHealth.

Why do it?

According to him, someone who has diabetes discarded urine still contains sugar. This occurs because when the blood sugar into the body by the kidneys in the process is not perfectly absorbed by the body. Then issued by the body through urine or pee.

"If high levels of sugar in the blood, then the filter is definitely still contains sugar or a sweet nature," said 36-year-old doctor.

Dr. Dante said diabetes mellitus actually mean is that sweet fountain, and a fountain here, can be interpreted as pee or urine.

Diabetes is a disorder that occurs in the use of glucose in the body. Diabetes does not happen just like that. Before someone is diagnosed with diabetes, they experience the normal phase, and finally increased to prediabetes and diabetes.

The disease is often called the silent killer. This disease does not directly cause death but complications resulting from diabetes can reduce the quality of one's life to end in death.

If people with diabetes can control their blood sugar levels properly, then the complications caused by this disease can be prevented. Complications of diabetes can strike almost all human organs.

The signs of a person affected by diabetes as reported from diabeteslibrary, Tuesday (11/01/2011) are:

1. Frequent urination
Urinate would be frequent if too much glucose in the blood. If insulin (a hormone that controls blood sugar) does not exist or less then the kidneys can not filter glucose back into the blood. Then the kidneys will draw additional water from the blood to destroy glucose. This makes a full bladder and makes a person urinate frequently.

2. Often feel thirsty
Because of frequent urination, you will become more frequent thirst, because of the difficult process of destruction of glucose in the blood then the water is sucked to destroy it. So that a person needs to drink more to replace lost water.

3. Lose weight fast
Mainly occurs in people with type 1 diabetes (genetic factors). Pancreas in people with diabetes to stop making insulin due to virus attack on pancreas cells or the autoimmune response that causes the body attacks the cells that produce insulin. As a result the body will be difficult to find an energy source because the cells are not getting glucose. Then the body begins to break down muscle tissue and fat for energy so the weight continues to shrink.

In patients with type 2 diabetes (change in lifestyle factors), weight loss occurs gradually with increasing insulin resistance so weight loss is not so visible.

4. Feeling weak and tired
Because glucose production is hampered so that cells from glucose foods that should be distributed to all body cells to make energy so it is not running. Because the cells do not get energy intake so that people will feel tired.

5. Frequent tingling in the feet and hands
This symptom is called neuropathy. Occurs gradually over time due to high blood glucose will damage the nervous system. In patients with type 2 diabetes incidence in stages, and people often do not realize that it was one sign. The condition of high blood sugar may have occurred several years before diagnosis. Nerve damage can spread without our knowledge.

6. Blurred vision, dry or itchy skin, frequent infections or cuts and bruises, which needs healing in a long time are other signs of diabetes.

If you see any signs of it then you have reason to worry about diabetes.

Then what disease complications arising from diabetes?
Here are the complications of diabetes:

1. Hysteria
Neurological disease is a long-term complications of diabetes. It is estimated that 60-70 percent of diabetics experience.

This neurological disease affects nearly all of the nervous system in the body ranging from mild cramps, headache, abdominal pain, back pain, no sweat. To severe blood pembulah disrupt the nervous system such as the heart to the nerves in the genitals that can cause impotence and gangrene with risk of amputation.

2. Eye disease (retinopathy)
Because of the narrowing, hardening or termination of blood vessels and capillaries of the retina causing a serious complication known as retinopathy and can lead to vision loss. Two severe complications are cataract and glaucoma.

4. Kardivaskular disease (heart)
As a result of having high blood pressure and weakening of heart muscle function.

3. Kidney disease
Because it has high blood pressure makes impaired renal function.

4. Hypoglycemia
Occurs because people with diabetes should receive an injection of insulin in the body. If then more insulin than the amount of blood sugar will make your blood sugar drops below normal levels, this is called hypoglycemia. Hypoglycemia can make a person dizzy, confused and lost consciousness or fainting.

4. Indigestion
Such as stomach disorders, diverticulitis, irritable bowel syndrome, abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea and gallstones.

5. Complications in the mouth
As is often experienced tooth dislodged, especially in people with type 1 diabetes.

6. Easy to infection
Risk of infection is high enough such as wound infections, influenza, respiratory infections to tuberculosis of bones.

7. Complications of pregnancy
The infant mortality rate is higher in women who suffer from diabetes.

8. Ketoacidosis (blood becomes acidic)
Early symptoms of diabetic ketoacidosis are thirst and frequent urination, nausea, vomiting, fatigue and abdominal pain (especially in children). Breathing becomes deep and rapid as the body attempts to repair the blood acidity. People with bad breath smell like the smell of acetone.

An easy way to detect diabetes:
1. Look at whether the urine is left in place while surrounded by ants or not. If surrounded by ants are a sign of high sugar content in blood is excreted through urine.

2. Use paper uristix pharmaceutical companies are sold. Insert paper into the urine uristix if the paper changes color then it is a sign of diabetes symptoms.

3. Diagnosis laboratories to test blood glucose. Testing with a fasting blood glucose levels if the result is greater or equal to 126 mg / dl indicates diabetes.

  1. I'm struggling with easy method number one. I've managed to surround myself with ants but I can't see whether they're interested in my urine or not because they're all over my face. In fact, even typing this is a real struggle.
