A small study found doing yoga can help restore some vitality is lost on the survivors (survivors) of breast cancer. Doing yoga 2 times a week to significantly reduce fatigue and increase vitality.



"Persistent fatigue after cancer treatment is a common problem with no known cause," said Dr. Maira Campos of the University of Miami's Miller School of Medicine, as quoted by Reuters on Tuesday (03/01/2012).

The study, led by Julienne Bower from the Department of Psychology University of California, Los Angeles involved 31 patients who survived breast cancer in California, the participants undergo treatment for 12 weeks at the UCLA Medical Centre to cope with exhaustion.

Every woman who became participants are divided into two classes, namely there is a yoga class 2 times for 90 minutes in every week, as well as groups that do 2 hours of health class once a week.

At the beginning of the study, each group has the same score for the level of fatigue has. But the women of the yoga group continued to report significant improvements in the reduction of fatigue levels.

Even so, yoga is not the only way to reduce the fatigue of patients after undergoing cancer treatment. Because maybe ballet training can have a similar effect which helps control the upper body.
