Take advantage of healthy side dishes offered at many fast food restaurants. For example, instead of choosing fries better to choose a salad with low fat dressing or a baked potato. Or add a selection of fruit and yogurt in the food choices at fast food restaurants.

Other healthy choices include apple or orange slices, corn on the cob, rice, or baked potato chips.

3. Choose low calorie
Choose dish chicken salad with shrimp or vegetables that are low fat or fat-free. If you choose regular salad, the salad can have 100-200 calories.
