Hypnosis can be viewed from the victim's eyes

News Health Articles - Hypnosis can be viewed from the victim's eyes. Hypnosis is sometimes still considered just a mere joke. But a group of researchers from various disciplines said that the hypnotized person or persons who became victims of hypnosis can be seen from the eyes.

Researchers from Universitu of Turku and the Aalto University in Finland and Sweden's University of Skovde learn about the evidence of hypnosis. The researchers revealed that the key to hypnosis is in the eye, as quoted from ibtimes.com, Tuesday (06/12/2011).



The researchers said these results could be the solution of the debate about the hypnosis. To more specifically known researchers call with glazed eye (eyes wide open).

Victims usually have hypnotic eyes wide open is accompanied by changes in the object automatically. Eye reflex can not be imitated by participants who are not hypnotized.

In this study researchers used high-resolution methodology for eye-tracking that could trigger an automatic eye behavior.

The results obtained have wider consequences in the field of psychology and cognitive neuroscience suggests the existence of a conscious state that has not been scientifically confirmed.

Hypnosis has a long and controversial history in psychology, psychiatry and neurology. For over 100 years researchers have debated whether hypnosis actually exists or is only a strategy alone.

So far the hypnotic state have never had a clue that convincing, and therefore many researchers believe hypnosis is just a popular myth in psychology.

But the results of this study gives some idea that hypnosis is not a myth, although not yet known more about what happens when a person is hypnotized.
