News Health Articles - Addition of Weight Loss Occurs When More Children. Weight loss can indeed be influenced by many factors, one of which is the environment. Known weight faster spread or occur when children than adults.

The study shows the effects of social relationships with adult weight seems exaggerated, because the weight gain when childhood tend to be much affected.

"This indicates a person's behavior has been formed when he was childhood and adulthood were taken," said Heather Brown researchers from Newcastle University in England, as quoted by LiveScience, Friday (16/12/2011).

Brown reveals the importance of early intervention to prevent obesity while still a child who can carry into adulthood. The results of this study have been reported in the journal Obesity.

This study compared the weights of 236 pairs of adult siblings who live together and 838 pairs of siblings who do not live together by comparing the value of BMI (body mass index).

These findings do not invalidate the idea that obesity can spread among friends while growing up, but the obesity that occurs may be spread easily when still a young age.

"For that factors other than family and derivatives, the social relationships outside the family can also directly contribute to spread of obesity," said Daniel Hruschka from Arizona State University's School of Human Evolution and Social Change.

Obesity is preferably prevented from an early age, especially when children do not continue to occur until adulthood, because obesity can increase the risk of various diseases.
