Causes of Mouth So Dented

Has the form of the mouth and jaw line are sunken into the (dented) is a normal part of aging process. This condition is considered reasonable because the body loses some muscle function as well as the emergence of several held in the cheeks and wrinkles around the lips.

Even so this condition can actually be prevented by choosing the right lifestyle such as proper nutrition, check your teeth regularly, maintain a healthy mouth and teeth so that the jaw can continue to support the mouth and the bottom face to the old.

Here are some things that can make people become dented mouth when old, as quoted from Livestrong, Tuesday (11/01/2011), namely:
1. Loss of bone mass
National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases says women who are diagnosed with osteoporosis are more susceptible to tooth loss. If the tooth does not exist it will automatically form the mouth will also be changed so that it becomes concave inward.

2. Bad shape dentures
His lips are sunken and the presence of wrinkles in the upper jaw, around the mouth and cheeks can occur if the form is not appropriate dentures. Because fitting dentures that will provide support to the cheeks, lips and facial muscles, and dentures can only be used about 5 years ago should be replaced with new ones.

3. Gum disease
Excess bacteria, inflammation and infection can aggravate the gums and tissues around the teeth. Gradually these gums will shrink away from the teeth and create space for increased infection and inflammation. If left untreated will lead to tooth loss and affects the shape becomes concave into the mouth.

Although aging is inevitable, but eating nutritious foods, brushing and flossing your teeth every day, a routine check to the doctor and treatment of dental problems can help maintain proper strong jaw line to support the structure of the mouth and lower face.
