Jennifer Cox (33 years) working in the Ministry of Defence at the Atomic Weapons Establishment at Aldermaston, Berkshire, England, as a part-time manager of the website.
Jennifer began taking time off because she often felt sick and had to perform antenatal doctor visits. Department of Defense says he was dismissed as part of the reduction of 800 workers in the department. But in the labor courts, Jennifer insists that she is a victim of sexual discrimination.
The mother of two children is to accept that its absence causes a lack of progress on the development of the website, but he was surprised by the reaction of his boss, Ray Cross.
"He told me to stop pain. I do not want to be sick, but I can not help it. I suffered from morning sickness, not to mention the pain that I experienced in the lower abdomen and some bleeding. Conversations that threaten and intimidate me to leave work, make my feel very miserable and low, "said Jennifer Cox, as reported by Dailymail, Wednesday (12/21/2011).
Jennifer told the court that when he informed his superiors about her condition, it led to his position in a risky job.
"I've made the decision to notify the line manager, I think that honesty is the best policy but now I regret it," explains Jennifer.
According to Jennifer, the company is trying to claim that they were unaware of her pregnancy and trying to find any reason relating to sexual discrimination.
"I believe that if I am not pregnant and do not take time off work, I still work there now," added Jennifer.
