Description

Flamic contains Diclofenac Potassium. Diclofenac Potassium, benzeneacetic acid derivatives, with the chemical formula 2 - [(2,6-dichlorophenyl) amino] benzeneacetic acid, monopotassium salt. The molecular weight of 334.25. Molecular formula is C14H10Cl2NKO2.



Each tablet Diclofenac Potassium, intended for administration by mouth (orally) containing 50 mg of Diclofenac Potassium. Diclofenac potassium tablets are anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), which showed anti-inflammatory activity, analgesic, and antipyretic.

The mechanism of action of Diclofenac potassium tablets, like that of other NSAIDs, is not fully understood, but may be related to inhibition of prostaglandin synthetase.

Indication

1. Short-term treatment of acute pain and inflammation conditions, namely:
a. Post-traumatic
b. Postoperative

2. As an adjuvant in severe painful inflammation of otitis and pharyngotonsillitis

Dose

1. Adults:
100-150 mg / day in 2-3 divided doses.

2. Children more than 14 years:
75-100 mg / day.
