Scary Face Boy presumed For Parents Not Take Care Him

Scary Face Boy presumed For Parents Not Take Care Him. See Jack Oldacres When many people think children aged 3 years or gradually scalded by the sun dried his parents. A rare disease called Netherton's syndrome is indeed making his skin burned red, peeling skin and itching.

"Once there was a screaming woman on the street 'How dare you leave the child in the sun too long?', Then I walked her to describe the condition of Jack, and he just said 'Oh' and went away without any apology," says Danny, father of Jack as quoted from Dailymail, Friday (04/11/2011).

Danny (32 years) and his wife Julie (38 years) have to be patient to face ridicule people who suspect they do not care for the children. Even so, they are not angry and always explain to people who ask. Both are committed to educating the public by introducing her illness.

Jack Oldacres born with Netherton syndrome in which symptoms include chronic skin inflammation, severe dehydration and stunted growth.

People with this syndrome have a red skin, itching and flaking skin that needs to be cleaned 2 times a day in the vessel sterilization to prevent infection. Netherton syndrome is estimated to affect one of the 800,000 people in the UK and there are only about 16 cases.

After 3 years of Danny and Julie often be ridiculed and condemned by society on the condition that occurs in children, now both launched an initiative to educate the public and provide funds to be used for further research about the disease Netherton syndrome.

This is because the information held by the University College in London about the disease is still small, so many people who do not understand so often blame parents.

"We decided that we would rather try and educate the public about this disease than angry or upset with what they say," said Danny, the father of Jack.

This syndrome is caused by a defect in a gene that serves to control the formation of protein in the skin that causes flaking and redness.

Jack was born five weeks premature faster and require hospitalization during the first 6 months of life by doctors and nurses who always keep him so isolated from infections and other diseases that could easily penetrate the skin fragile.

Even before the age of 1 year, Jack's been exposed to MRSA, suffering from blood poisoning, septicemia and bronchitis as well as his heart had stopped 3 times. But because of intensive and painstaking care that now Jack can still live up to the age of 3 years like other children.

There is currently no known drug that could cure him, but there are some things you can do to relieve symptoms such as using moisturizers, anti-infective treatments and topical steroids.

"I'll go to school to talk and educate more people about why he looks like, it is expected that they would not exist anymore or blame those who mock us, but instead everyone wants to be his friend," Jack said.
