Research conducted by Jennifer Argo of the University of Alberta is proved, a person who suck sweets are smaller tend to get more calorie intake. This means that the amount of candy that sucked be more if the size is small.
According to research, it is not because a small bubble has a higher sugar. Levels on average the same, but without realizing the amount of candy consumed tend to be more when the candy size smaller.
Interestingly, this trend was more observed in people with low confidence in a sense very concerned about weight gain. Should be very concerned if indeed, the intake of sugar or calories will be very limited.
"People with high self-confidence, in the sense of not too concerned about your weight, keep eating more when the candy is smaller. But the difference is more noticeable in people who lack confidence," Argo said as quoted by Indiavision, Monday (31/10 / 2011).
Argo suspect, a smaller bubble size tends to make people feel safer to eat. Without realizing it, the amount of candy that sucked even more so if the sugar or calorie intake totaled more precisely than when sucking on a big candy.
Visual stimuli that affect such a diet is similar to trends observed in several previous studies, for example people tend to eat more when using a small spoon, or drink more when wearing glasses, short and wide-mouthed.
