Some conditions of headaches are not life-threatening, but the headaches that arise can be a signal that something serious and need medical assistance such as stroke, aneurysm and meningitis.

1. Headache accompanied by neck pain and fever
Pain or stiffness in the neck and fever that accompany the headache may be a sign of meningitis, which is an inflammation of the lining of the central nervous system that can trigger a critical condition.
2. Headache accompanied by vomiting
If the headache that comes accompanied by severe nausea, vomiting, difficulty talking or walking even to loss of consciousness can be a sign of hemorrhagic stroke or brain tumor.
3. Worst headache ever experienced
If the headaches experienced more severe than usual, then immediately consult with your doctor to find out the cause. There is a possibility of this condition due to an aneurysm in the brain that has begun to leak, causing a bit of blood and can be life threatening.
If you experience any of the conditions of this headache is usually the doctor will perform further tests such as CT scans to determine the cause and the disease history and lifestyle of the patient.
