George first got pneumococcal meningitis in December 1999 when she was six years after he suffered severe headaches but his condition did not improve even after taking painkillers.

George also managed to reach their teens, but in August 2011 he returned for the fourth time exposed to meningitis, but meningitis is pneumococcal meningitis attack which is the most serious form.

Initially George to bed early because of a headache and then he began to shiver and vomit, but parents think it's because of food poisoning. But the next day, his fever got worse until the mother immediately called the ambulance.

"Medical officers immediately gave him antibiotics when still in the ambulance. We're really worried, because it is the most serious form of the disease and we hope he got so lucky when first exposed to meningitis," says Joy.

With prompt treatment, George managed to survive the disease and avoid complications that usually accompany meningitis like brain damage, hearing loss and vision. This condition makes doctors and medical experts stunned.

"He was so lucky because they do not have serious side effects after experiencing repeated meningitis. Now he had received no vaccinations are given antibiotics as a preventive and early," he said.

Now George has always wear bracelets SOS every time out and he has a friend who is always watching and examining it when he began to feel unwell. This case has impressed experts because no one has ever survived from meningitis 4 times without any side effects.
