An electronics repairman in Wembury, England named Chris Marshall. Since last year he suffered heart problems and should be put on an artificial heart. He had undergone heart bypass surgery two times before, but it is not able to restore heart function that live 13 percent.
Chris's heart should need resources from a small battery in his waist to keep it beating. Unfortunately, the battery must be recharged like a battery to keep mobile phones can be used and only capable of supplying power for 4 hours.
He often difficult to find electrical plugs while traveling away. Until one day, he managed to modify the battery for artificial heart that could be recharged at any time. He did a refill via the cigarette lighter in his car.
Chris as saying by The Sun, Sunday (12/18/2011) says The travel time can be up to 3 hours if I'm driving to Cornwall. In order to stay on, I can recharge the battery of my heart on the road. No matter the origin of the cigarette lighter not being used for anything else.

Chris hopes one day he could get a suitable donor heart, so the heart of this power could be replaced with real heart. Battery-powered artificial heart is actually not a permanent solution.
