There are 14 hospitals in Indonesia who prescribe traditional medicine

Minister of Health said the use of traditional medicine is still very high. Even 80 percent of the population in African traditional medicine is still hanging. While research in Indonesia showed 49.53 percent of the population above the age of 15 years of regularly eating herbs. From the figure was 4.36 percent eating herbs every day.

"The Indonesian government is committed to develop traditional medicine, especially herbal medicine made in Indonesia. To integrate traditional medicine into national health systems, a number of regulatory framework has been published, from the law until the minister's decision," said Minister of Health.

Minister also said that currently he leads the department is conducting scientific research in Central Java Tawangmangu to find a cure with traditional materials for the four diseases of blood sugar, blood lipids, blood pressure and uric acid.

"To date only four diseases that are looked for medicine, the future will be developed for other diseases. Also now available in 14 hospitals in Indonesia 30 health centers in Central Java which use traditional medicine as an official drug. The future will more and more, "he said.
